Nostalgic for nostalgia

No.20 of The Bathtime Experiment on Shore Radio Edinburgh. Recorded live every Thursday night from 9-11pm. A vinyl purchase based edition which veers wildly from alt rock to psych, prog to power pop and folk prog to newer Scottish band stuff floating my boat this week. Featuring bands named after animals/invertebrates, my new favourite KC cover (not played by musicians on segways tho) and great Scottish bands I have been lucky to play on the same bill as. And Gentle Giant. Just because I can.

From Goth to Giant, the smorgasbord of the strange track was born from an egg on a mountain top, the featured album of the week from Public Service Broadcasting is a superb modern concept album on the cold war space race, the perusal along the pedestrian precinct of progressive rock is a tribute to the late Chris Squire, a big influence on me as a bass player and a classic Frank and The Mothers studio track from my favourite of his many bands.

Goodnight Miss T.

Thank you very much for listening! It's a great track and look forward to hearing more from them in the future.
