Windblown

More than a few years ago, the group of mixers I hung with put out a challenge: which was to make a
mix completely outside your main genre. The purpose was to see if the new mix would hold up to the
high standards we had set for ourselves as well as to see if we were good mixers…or simply had become
skilled within our specialty.

For me (who's main genre is Ambient), the result was this mix…’Windblown’. It began with the
soundtrack from the movie ‘Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?’- and built from there; incorporating Folk,
Rock, Folk-Rock, Spiritual, Christian Rock, Blues & a dash of Pop.

It’s a favorite when we’re on a family, travel-by-van, vacation & a really fun mix. 78:53
