Every now and again you come across an artist or band whose music you immediately love and can't believe you didn't know anything about them before. It's possibly this element of discovery which makes music so exciting. Lakker, a Dublin based duo - Ian and Dara - are one such example of this. With their history of DJing and musical foundations set in the end of the last century, their music can be described as channeling techno, bass music, IDM and ambient sensibilities into their own unique blend. They have even had their music played live by none other than Aphex Twin.
We got in contact with them straight away to find out more and ask if they would be interested in contributing a mix, they have fortunately obliged with a set comprised of every conceivable component of modern electronic music and answered our questions.
