This episode, we met with Manuel Muñoz García and Lucia Vannini to discuss their research from 'both sides' of Digital Humanities scholarship. Manuel, PhD candidate at King's College London, uses DigiPal to help analyse, collate and annotate manuscripts made by and in collaboration with the 13th century author and artist Matthew Paris. Lucia, PhD candidate in the Institute of Classical Studies at the School of Advanced Study, investigates how Classicists around Europe use digital tools as part of their research - interviewing them to understand the roles that various DH technologies play in their scholarship.
