This is the oldest cassette mixtape I ever made, therefore it is chopped together digitally about half way through. This tape predates the beginning of my DJ career by just weeks and was made at home with what limited resources I had at the time and is BY FAR not my best work. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane. Dated October of 1983.

Glad you enjoyed the mix - it's rough .. the more experience I got the better the mixes got. Still, it's fun to journey back to those days and the music scene then. These mix tapes were intended for personal use - we would listen to them in the car on the way to the club on weekends. I didn't want them to degrade any further, so I'm transferring them to digital and sharing them with the world. I hope you will check out some of my other mixes and feel free to share them as well.
