Hamburg, Germany
Monday evening show on http://www.basic.fm Fischbrötchen mit Dino focuses on Neue Deutsche Welle, but also forgotten tapes, new wave and synth punk. This show wants to be a treat both for all those people who grew up swapping tapes, making music in grandparents’ basements and dreaming of the German Autobahn as a road with sound proof cars driven by sexy robots, rather then grey motorways driven by a sleepy parent, and for all of those others who are unaware or just recently discovered it.
It is a testimony of a moment in the history of music which, although had practically a very short life, it has never really disappeared and which can be considered to this day very contemporary.
Based in Hamburg, Giada Pesce is a runaway artist with a strong passion for music and kaleidoscopes. She swifts from video to sound art, from djing to research. She grew up inside a wardrobe, where she collects small things.
