1. Surrender the future course of your life to acknowledge that God is your Sovereign.
2. Choose a passage from the Bible to memorize. Repeat this passage to remind yourself of God's faithfulness whenever fear or the temptation to seize control comes over you.
Suggestions: Joshua 1:9; Isaiah 41:10; Isaiah 43:1-2; Psalm 23; Jeremiah 29:11; Zephaniah 3:17.
3. How has God shown His faithfulness to you? Make a list of those gifts and give thanks.
4. Pray, "Spirit of God, I am yours. What do You want to say and do through me right now?"
