Now settled in Phnom Penh, fin_lay uses a combination of his upbringing within the UK festival scene and instrument playing to vibe the dancefloor on a musical trip.
Playing regularly as the house DJ at Rukkha Sky Bar and Tapas, where a smooth disco/deep house sound fills the airwaves, as a member of the underground collective Ginnel Productions it would only be just for when the time comes to find the night time music in his library, fin_lay gets his his groove on.
After organising the back end of Siem Reap's only techno night with friends now working in Kampot, fin_lay turned his ears to the decks and came to get involved here, in Phnom Penh. Usually focusing on a bass laden, darker, acidy tech/house vibe, don't be surprised if you end up in the land of acidy-breaks when you started in techno... Oh, wait, is that dsco? Or some smooth sounding smoothness?
