Post-rock band aave <pronounced ahh-vey> may be based in Nashville, but its music is beamed in from the deep recesses of the psyche. The band’s debut full-length release, There’s Nothing (Villain Place/Rock Ridge Music), out August 14th, 2015, epically captures aave’s transition from a critically acclaimed ambient-indie duo to a majestically expressive post-rock band with disquieting delicate soundscapes that evaporate into grand climaxes.

Enriching the “turn on, turn up, and drift away” quality of the release are stunning visuals accompanying each track created by the band’s lead vocalist who is also an accomplished visual artist.
