But Ammanford is in South Wales! Ok, it's because Ammanford fell on very hard times in the late 1920s and Wallasey 'adopted' it sending money and clothes so Ammanford named a road after us.

More trivia..why has Ammanford, home of John Cale and Alex Jones of The One Show, got a street called Wallasey Road? Loved the Killdozer and Codeine selections of course.
