Mummer sweet nothings, my darling. Is there anything more enchanting than the sound of your lover's voice? This playlist is a dedication to vocalisations of all shapes and forms: whispers, sung-spoken lullabies and climactic high notes that send shivers down your spine. From the quotation living room recordings of the husband and wife duo of Will and Kalima Sawyer of Planetary Peace, to the polyphony of a full choir. David Lang will entrance you with his retelling of the legend of Tristan and Isolde, before Jónsi & Alex Somers on 'Boy 1904,' play out a recording of the last known castrato singer.
