My name is Jon and I am a 26-year old psychology-grad from York University. I love the sport of beach volleyball, and I live in Toronto and work in a high-volume bar downtown. Only recently have I kicked an 'addiction to sports' after learning how to mix. Two years ago, I attempted to put together my first playlist of songs; or setlist. For this mix, I used an old Macbook, a four-channel Pioneer DDJ-T1, and a Traktor Kontrol X1. I chose to use a short list of 'classic' effect-types. To me, the core (and truly enigmatic) skill of mixing is not much different than how a high-level chef would need to use his palate. This is a thoroughly enjoyable collection of dance music tracks you've probably never heard before. Enjoy
