Inspiration comes from many places and in many ways. A cloudbank breaking up the sunlight on the side of the mountains, the way the wind blows across water, a really great track that makes you build a whole set around it just to showcase it well, memories of dark basement rooms with sweating people worshipping in this thing we call house. Anything can spark the urge.
Sometimes all it takes is a bad mood and the desperate need to clear it.
When I recorded this, I was in a *really* bad fucking mood. I didn't plan it or time it, I just went deep and loud and recorded it. It didn't work, it didn't clear the mood, but it damn sure laid down some really deep progressive house.
So at least something good came out of that day.
