This is the first mix of my series "Amiga Express" dedicated to the former GDR record label AMIGA and their amazing musicians.
When I moved to Leipzig nine years ago, I started researching their records and since then it became a big joy which I now want to share with you.
This series will go on until I feel it´s enough and gives you an overview of the wide variety of music the label released.
In the first one I put focus on my favourite Boogie, Soul, Disco and Funk tracks from the 70´s and early 80´s. These tracks draw my attention especially since they so well produced and include big orchestras which all in all create a really catchy and joyful atmosphere that make me always smile and dance, I hope you too!?
Next Episode I will focus on Psychedelic- and Prog- Rock.
