Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: “Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” And he went outside and wept. Matthew 26:75

Peter never meant to deny Christ. He loved Him. In a moment of weakness he gave in but he repented and was restored. We too may stumble but we must repent and find restoration with Jesus Christ.
