The first 30 minutes of this mix are a rocket ship ride to the nether regions of the galaxy and your mind, as if those were two different things. Then things take a darker turn which was the impetus of this mix's title. We've all dealt with the physical & emotional distance imposed by the pandemic. We've all experienced some form of distance from those that should be near to our hearts. And for me personally, the producers of many of these tracks are OG progressive house DJs I discovered nearly two decades ago.

The title "space/time" is a nod to the cosmic carpet ride these sounds will take you on with a properly-loud set of headphones, but also a reminder that the separations we experience are but illusions, perpetrated by our trickster egos blinding us to the deeper truth that with enough scale distance becomes nil and time becomes irrelevant. Close the distance. Reset the clock. Recognize the threads of the fabric of space/time can, and should, be tugged once in a while.
