So, so, so, so glad you threw on my most essential High Llamas track - I wish they did more dreamy/Valium-ed out instrumentals like "Hiball" ... another great mix, mate!
They still throw some of that stuff here and there on their albums, but not like they did in the Cold & Bouncy / Snowbug days. Sean gets some of that in on the soundtracks he does with Tim Gane too. But yeah, that golden period of the 90s when they were messing about with synths and HL / Stereolab crossed over the most (along with help from Tortoise and Mouse On Mars) is the best. I never get tired of it.
