I created this 55 minute soundscape for an art exhibition by Lucy Cade, it's called Disrupted Icons: The maternal gaze. Sounds are from my own harp playing, mostly improvised but also drawing on religious chants, as well as hospital noises (recorded on my phone), my own baby's heartbeat in utero, prayers and words spoken by my friends Tara Jaff (in Kurdish) and Vanja Contu (Italian).
