The cassette "Download - Tester" is something of a legend at the Skinny Puppy forum Litany. "Tester" is a mixtape of 11 tracks that Dwayne Goettel gave to a friend in December 1994. Speculation is that the tape consists of either demos or unfinished versions. Due to the owner's unwillingness to attempt to digitize the cassette, it is unknown what state of completion they are in. Litany’s very own Username did some sleuthing and with the owner's additional input was able to figure out what songs are included on "Tester."
What I've done is take the released versions of these songs and created what could possibly be what Dwayne and cEvin had intended to release as the first Download album. Challenging and difficult at times, this is very much a continuation of the Skinny Puppy song "Download" off of Last Rights.
