S.P.H.E.R.E. - Time Bender

The lack of Trance mixing during my first semester at SDSU was making me anxious. Plus, I had just bought Apple's Logic 8 software and was eager to record a Trance mix. I was also a really big fan of Mat Zo at the time, he had a warm Progressive sound that I couldn't get enough of and I needed to drop those babies asap! The result: a mostly Progressive Trancer with no real story behind it but with madd heart nonetheless. I noticed it had a dreamy feel to it on the vocal moments and time flew by on the review sessions so when I finally gave it the stamp of approval, I named it Time Bender. A fitting title I reckon'. The Breakbeat Trance, House, and Tech Trance I sprinkled throughout make great interruptions.

Released December 2008.
