In this edition of the FIVE4FIVE podcast, eNefSol played some of the their favorite classical, jazz and house records. Kicking off the show with the astounding Alice Coltrane on the keys and harp for "Turiya and Ramakrishna". Which comes from Ptah, The El Daoud, the first album Alice Coltrane produced following the passing of her late husband John Coltrane. Following up with "Bibo no Aozora (Beautiful Blue Sky)", a standout song from the BABEL soundtrack. Eventually, Nas & Damian Marley put things in perspective with the uplifting record "Count Your Blessing" off of the Distant Releatives album. Closing out the podcast with the cosmic sounds of Flying Lotus and introspective sounds of John Coltrane also are featured. Consequently, making this episode a family affair, considering Flying Lotus is actually the grandnephew of Alice Coltrane. Pour yourself a glass of merlot, unwind and enjoy.
