The Orphaned Spaces

The Orphaned Spaces is published by Dunlin Press on 20 July 2018, with words by MW Bewick and illustration by Ella Johnston. The book is the centrepiece of The Waste Ground Project, a multimedia collaboration and a rumination on life through the prism of liminal spaces – derelict land, brownfield sites – caught between moments of dilapidation and regeneration. The project takes the form a paperback book, and a highly limited edition box set, featuring hand-stitched booklets, archival prints and a reliquary, as well as art prints, video and more.
