APEX (Asia Pacific Exports) focuses on delivering music from the deepest corners of the globe; the Asia Pacific. Run by Chinese-New Zealander DJ, Jess Fu, APEX welcomes guest DJs from across the Asia Pacific and it’s diaspora. The show dives into all genres from all centuries; from disco to indie rock, to electronic to traditional, indigenous music.
MR MEATY BOY (Ngāti Porou, Ngāpuhi) is a DJ and multi-disciplinary artist based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara . Their debut show was Fostercare’s eMotionz series at Christchurch’s infamous darkroom in 2019. Since then they have played shows with Club Unique, Nympho, Third-Party, Insessions and HAVEN. They run a club night initiative with other Ōtautahi artists called WAY.PNT – endeavouring to connect underground scenes with a community first approach. MR MEATY BOY is known for genre jumping sets that push music exploration and spirit of dance and rave culture.
