Journeys 4 - Deep Tech

An older show I hadn't posted yet, but a good one. I think the opening track sets the tone well for the rest of the set. I like bit of warmth in my bass, and a sense of expansiveness in my deep that takes you on the journey.

When I make these sets, I'm aiming less for a specific style or subgenre as I am a specific sound, a feel that carries through across the genes it intersects with. You know it soon enough. This one has that more serious tone and drive of tech, with a melodic feel and enough of house to be real, and a progressive flow that builds to depth more often than peaks. You might dance or you might trance, I play around that edge a lot with the deep.
