Swing It

G'day.
While still not healed after the motorbike accident I decided to have another crack at mixing one handed. This is a solo mix and I have gone in to unexplored territory by doing an Electro Swing mix. The typical mixing techniques required a but of modification do to the amount of vocals and the way the horns also behave like vocals. It took a bit to put a playlist together and then to work out how to mark it up as well as EQ it. But for something that is way out of my comfort zone I'm pretty happy with it although simple. It's nice and up beat.
A big shout out to Kim from our local bottle-shop for suggesting I have a go at the electro swing genre. *I hope you like the 3rd track as this was one I grabbed just for you!
I also think this is something that my folks will enjoy as they used to get in to Hooked on Swing and Hooked on Classics. When they listen to my other mixes they say it is just noise to them (LoL).
