This is my 6th solo mix for my friend Rohan Stewart for (and inspired by) his Community Radio Show called KNOWHERE. You can find him on 98.9 North West FM most Sundays (Except the first Sunday of the month) from 5pm - 6pm. The radio station is located in the North West Melbourne (Australia) suburb of Hadfield.
Rohan has been ranting on radio for over 25 years.
I called this Knowhere's Safe as a double entendre. Meaning no place is save or the place called Knowhere is safe. The genre I have mixed is Techno. And it is as varied as a genre can be. It has caused me a lot of grief with many false starts. And as you listen to this mix you will find it has many variants depending on age and mood. Yet it is a constant 130 Beats per Minute with little change in energy and only a few changes in key. Yet what you hear is quite varied. Or you may find it very repetitive and monotonous - art is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder.
