This is my 5th solo mix for my friend Rohan Stewart for (and inspired by) his Community Radio Show called KNOWHERE. You can find him on 98.9 North West FM most Sundays (Except the first Sunday of the month) from 5pm - 6pm. The radio station is located in the North West Melbourne (Australia) suburb of Hadfield.
Rohan has been ranting on radio for over 25 years.
This mix has been an easy one in that it is a soundscape with a touch of Grey Area (which is a new emerging genre unto itself). For me, it captures that feeling of where we are as a society and civilization on the tipping point of falling in to a dystopian and unknown future...a true Knowhere land. A journey to THAT place where all that we took for granted is but a fading memory. Now that we have come so far, we will never be able to go back to the life that we once had. We have had a glimpse in to the abyss and It has look in to us and left its mark.
So now, we are off to KNOWHERE...
