DJ AR - Too

Drum and bass studio DJ mix! This is my first D&B release and is a happy departure for me. I've been collecting and dabbling in drum and bass for several years now and this sound finally emerged. Drum and bass is difficult, not least because so much of it is so bad. But there is good if you look hard enough - songs of a deep, emotive, musical genre.

I've found this music inspiring to work with. The textures, the melodies, and the messages have grabbed me. This mix is a quick, dreamy, organic journey to funkier beats with a wee bit of vocal drama to round things out. It steers clear of the raw nastiness that pervades so much of the genre, so it should work equally well with breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
