minimal techno

I’ll be honest I was never much of a Minimal Techno DJ, most of the tunes on this mix are the B-sides to other more Electro or Techno Vinyl.
It’s not Detroit and it’s not Tech House It’s kinda somewhere between the two and I’m sure there’s a few tunes in this mix which fall into those brackets too. Defining features would be percussive elements morphing into melodies and deep basslines but not too much else, gotta keep it…….minimal.
The reason I didn’t play much Minimal as it’s pretty much a bit too boring for me and my sets.
The Mix is actually a brilliant journey of laid back grooving, best listened to in the early hours sometime after the main event but before the come down kicks in. A midnight drive or after party mong out.
The last tune is my favourite, hauntingly melancholy and emotional skip to it if you have to but listen in its entirety for full effect.
