Simon

I bet you thought you’d heard the last of me but then something has woken my DJ side back up again. Sadly I lost my close friend and rave brother Simon to a tragic car accident a few weeks back. Simon and I shared a massive love for music. We were in rock bands together since our early 20′s but what really brought us close was our love for dance music and the clubbing scene.

We discovered it together and spent many a happy night dancing our asses off to the tough, bouncy tunes that we loved so much. When I was first getting into DJ’ing, I would play the tunes I had found down the phone to Simon and we would buzz of them and we would get excited about upcoming nights.

I hope you enjoy the mix. I’ve visualised Simon dancing to each tune and sending him nuts with each mix. I’ve also put the most love I know how into each and every bit – in memory of the sweetest soul I’ve ever had the privelage to call my friend.
