After my last DJ course, which was about song selection and building musical narratives, I wanted to do something even more ambitious. I began asking, "What else are other sets missing that would take them from CRITICAL MISS and get them to CRITICAL HITS?"

Enter: ✨ DJ Cheat Codes ✨ The Secrets to Smooth Transitions.

Transitions are (literally) the glue that hold a set together. A good transition can carry dancers into a euphoric flow... and a bad one can kill the vibe for a whole night. This is why I'm surprised when many DJs (even some of the names you see headlining big Zouk events) so regularly fall short of transitions that sound smooth, fun, and musical.

In this course, I aim to break down *everything* I'm thinking about when I'm crafting a transition. I'll be leveraging a background not only in DJing but in music performance and arranging to explore how to tap into musical expectations and build transitions that will WOW dancers and listeners alike.

I've designed the course to be accessible to all levels, though basic familiarity with DJ tools and workflows will help you follow along with examples and practice at home. Wherever you are on your Zouk DJ journey, this class can help you demystify the mixing process and LEVEL UP your sets.
