>> DJ Nerds << This was a commissioned set for Elena and Elijah's birthdays with a *wild* playlist as a starting point (neo-classical, 90's Cher and Marc Anthony, Doja Cat, and Disney to name just a few categories). I wanted to stick as much to this playlist as possible since I LOVE the kind of creative problem-solving those constraints create. The approach that finally worked was collecting similar vibes and then trying to find ways to arrange and stitch those groups together into a satisfying narrative. I also ended up pulling in one non-playlist song and playing with mid-song key changes as ways to transition out of some particularly sticky situations.

All in all, it was an immensely fun, challenging, and satisfying project to work on ❤️
