Having got my first set of decks for Christmas in 1996, '97 was my first proper year of buying records and teaching myself to mix. It was the year I learnt about the excitement of ID'ing a track stood in a record shop with a pile of random vinyl in front of me.

This mix covers 2 hours of what I loved most about this era. Variety. The variety of what a D&B DJ could play to a crowd back then was amazing. Expect dark, moody beats alongside jump up and rollers.
