There is something about the Moomba beat that gets to me. It just makes me want to groove on the dance floor. It's a driving beat that gets inside you and you just can't standstill. It's not for everyone. Some purists want to hear the original versions of songs and that's OK, but some of these tunes come to life again with a re-drum mix and they light up the dance floor once again. As a wedding DJ, it's about knowing how far you can push the crowd in front of you without going too far and clearing the dance floor. Each crowd is different and it's my job to figure out whether they are purists or a bit edgy enough for a little moomba remix. @djrobalberti
