Back to Basics Vol. 7 (Clean)

Volume 8 in the Back to Basics series kicked off a couple year stint as an on air mixer for 96.1fm The Beat Colorado Springs. The first 25 minutes of this mix aired on 4th of July Weekend of 2011. The mix itself was recorded in June of 2011. This was the first mix where I tried to make nearly every transition a wordplay throughout the entire mix. This mix is the turning point in the Back to Basics where the mixes began to sound like they do today.

The Back to Basics mix series is designed to give listeners a taste of what they'd hear if they caught me at prime time in the club. An open format mix utilizing wordplay, toneplay and scratching, to create a cohesive, unique experience.
