"Sure the picture is in my eye, but I am also in the picture"
Usually when DJing, you play to an audience, hoping to make people dance, tap their feet or at least smile. There are other times, in the silence and solitude of your own home, when you simply play to yourself. Those are the times, when it is less a performance and closer to therapy, letting all your thoughts and feelings and self-doubt and anxiety and frustrations and questions about the future and the nature of being and the cosmos and the will I die alone and the have I really made any kind of positive impact on the world at all and will I ever and all of the other bullshit comes out through the music and the art of blending songs together. As with most of my mixes, I have not gone back and fixed anything. It is as it came out, scars, blemishes, wrinkles and all. I hope that you can find some joy in this piece of music. I know that it helped me when I needed it to.
