Seasons:Spring

To celebrate the 20th birthday of our record label First Word, I’m putting together a series of mixtapes culled from the archive of over 1500 songs in our back catalogue. This isn’t a ‘best of’, this is a way of telling our story that’s taken us from a small outfit operated out of a couple of spare rooms in Leeds and Sheffield to where we are now, 300 releases deep with a couple of decades worth of tales to tell. I’m so proud and grateful to our artists for sharing such beautiful music with us over the years. I hope we did your work justice. Big love to you all.
