This mix is comprised of some of my favorite routines that I've used up to and throughout 2017. I initially compiled them for a sidewalk showcase at a venue called Fresh in Richmond, Virginia. After the show, I decided that I would rework the mixes and record something that would truly capture my musical range as a DJ. It wasn't about playing the hottest tracks of 2017 (in fact there's only one). It was about trying to create something timeless that could be played years from now and still be relevant and palatable. These are all tracks that I listen to personally, outside of the places I spin. I felt it was time to step away from the confines of a "venue" to give you something different and maybe even a little insight as to how music in my everyday life influences what I play as A DJ. This is a progressive musical journey divided into five sections. There's a lot of tunes you probably know and some you might not. Sit back, close your eyes and open your ears.
