*Stays 62.5 BPM. Not beginner-friendly. Danceable-ish though.
Yesterday, I was in a mood of sorts and then I heard the song called, "Love Me" by Soli. I was like "ah this needs a set". And then boom, I made one.
I wanted to emulate an interpretation I had of Junyuan's style for the Abra Sunday Set (peep comments). Her mixing and transitions are efficient, not distracting, and super well placed. It is like the right one at the right moment.
I also wanted to try Nathan's style of bringing joints together that flow seamlessly into each other. He has ways of introducing a song/sample and making it flow. I get lost in the sauce. I don't where the first song ended and when the second one began.
Also, I steal a lot of shit from Aaron and he knows that. From him, I'm trying to get used to the idea of making joints work regardless of. He always finds a way to make something of what would be nothing to me.
Here's my Dollar-Tree impersonation and Walmart amalgamation of said styles.

I am in love with your mixes. You speak to my RnB lover soul and bring it to Zouk.
