Solas - Opener - 10/12/2021

First time DJing at Solas. It was a wonderful experience and a very vital one for learning too. James/DJ Power, I thank you for giving me the opportunity. Big ups to Igor and Vinny for killing it as always. It always makes one feel more comfortable with you two in the wings.

It is fascinating playing for the same scene at a different social. Such a similar but very noticeably different vibe and flavor. I wasn't sure if I was going to post this set as I think it was okay but felt like I could have been even better. But done and reflected upon is better than trying to be perfect but nothing ever gets done.

Still trying to get used to the idea that people really can enjoy and like something that you may feel otherwise too. However, perfection only really lies in the artists' heads. The audience receives and experiences as it is and as it comes. All in all, I need to chill and take it easy. Looking forward to whenever next time is.
