Okao (Energy 3 - 7)

The meaning of "Okao" is "First" in Edo Language (my parents' native language).

It is appropriate as this is my first attempt at a live/freestyle set. My previous sets have been one-takes (or multiple times at a one-take). However, there was no planning and no prep for this one, just me throwing darts at the set and hoping it works. Tom suggested I try my hand at DJing live or at least taking the next steps with it in mind.

There were mistakes and some messy stuff. But I won't beat myself up for trying something new and hard. And definitely not for sharing it especially since nobody else would (nor should) do that anyway.

There were definitely some good ideas in the set and it is actually danceable. I didn't really anticipate it being this long. I just started mixing and kept going.

Maybe, I should have ended it early on but oh well. Think of it as a bonus since the last one is a downer and was me in my feelings with life going on.
