Terry Reid

Some call him the unluckiest man in rock. At the end of the sixties he turned down the job of being lead singer for Jimmy Page's new band as he was already committed to going on tour supporting Cream. However, he recommended a young singer called Robert Plant as a possible replacement.
For similar reasons he also turned down the vacancy for a lead singer in Deep Purple with Ian Gillan being the second choice!!
Nevertheless, he has recorded some great original songs and some great covers. Enjoy the soulful yet powerful rock voice of Terry Reid
