Just under 18 months ago I uploaded a mix called Playing For Change, a collection of stunning field recordings featuring street musicians and professional musicians including a few well know ones, from all over the world: Africa, Europe, The Americas, Asia etc.. The team would take a well known song, travel the world finding musicians and each musician or group of musicians would play their part on the recording before it got mixed. There were some great videos to accompany these. The charity uses the money it gets to promote music and culture in the schools of third world countries.
