Number 2's

Once upon a time, the charts were an established barometer of popularity and presumably, taste. The rather dubious methods of measuring the 'top twenty' have long been subject to controversy with many calls of corruption etc. However, we still loved them and so to 'celebrate' the charts and acknowledge their part in the glorious history of rock'n'roll here is a collection of some of the great records that for one reason or another only ever made it to Number 2 in the UK charts.
