Thanks man! Yeah, I think gabber was the first term I heard for this back in 90s as well - to differentiate it from happy hardcore I think. There are so many different hardcore sub-genres these days - like speedcore and frenchcore etc. - glad that the scene is alive and kicking!

lol there was also such a kid at my high school - the thing was that he lived really close to school, so while everyone else had to get up really early to make it all the way to school, he just could wake up like 15 minutes before the class starts haha
