The loss of a loved one is almost always coupled with some form of hurt and emptiness that truly never fades away. The totality of the space that a person occupies in your world is revealed in an instant. We often try to fill that void by busying our minds with endless activities in the hope of not finding that familiar empty place.
As much as we try, we can’t run from this new reality forever. It is only after we find the strength and the courage to face the truth that we start to heal. In order to heal we must sit with the pain, embrace it, and use our God given gift to alchemize it into something that has a deeper meaning. For this pain was never meant to imprison us in a perpetual state of suffering. It was meant to help us understand that in this life all things must pass and that with every day we are gifted, we must appreciate the endless opportunity we possess to create anything we can imagine to make our world whole and bright again.
During this process of creation we look to the pain, not to suffer more but to instead draw from it the strength and the inspiration to allow ourselves to move forward. For this life is one of motion. My music is my motion, my way to sit with the pain. In it I find a way to channel the hurt and transform it into to healing. I pray you find the same peace when you listen to it and lose yourself in the GR00V3…One always! Love always!
