More than one year ago, I've discovered some punk band, like Conheads, who reminded me the same energy that fascinated me in Hardcore Devo albums. Through Haord Records, Discontinuous Innovation Inc. or Jimmy Youtube channel, I've discovered more references that made me think there is a sort of Devo revival.
It's no accident if punk bands suddenly sing about cow-boys and science, and if some of these musics seems they come from a strange musical instrument founded in a dump. It exprimes the reject (sometimes ironical) of a too clean and utilitarian society, being at the same time fascinated by the beauty of human evolution.
Here is a compilation I made, with songs which reminds me the energy, the ryhtmics of Devo.
