After the effort of Crossroads to showcase some new music, a lack of fresh, new sound to the charts caused some brief delay in compiling another installment of my podcast series. Well, no longer! Explore is a great way to start your day or get your night going, featuring some great bass lines, deep vocals, and multi-genre appeal.
Explore starts by showcasing a track released last year called 'Torch' that is mesmerizing and sexy. A dub kicks things off with just enough low notes to bring the listener in, and just enough digitized vocals to have a bit of house like flair. I find it to be the perfect mix of the Torch song, since it can be listened in an ambient setting or blasted in a club (I've heard it in both settings).
