Dhangsha selects tracks that have inspired and informed his electronic excursions of the last two years. Non metric beats merge with tempered rhythms, abstraction is contrasted with cyclical motifs and space with density. There is an urge to escape the fixed grid of conformity. The distortions and heavy bass pulsations that permeate the set are a militant response to the various manifestations of ugliness that have become commonplace in society and which are now deemed acceptable. There is additionally a feeling of self imposed solitude, a need to withdraw in order to reflect, research and regenerate before returning to the fold.
