I started mixing in 1982 in the Chicago Englewood neighborhood. I got interested in house music after listening to the hot mix 5 and Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Pharris, Mike Dunn, and Tyree cooper all of which I heard live. I also was a guest DJ on WKKC and loved going to their supersets. I perfected my craft over the years and expanded my mixing style to hip hop and R&B.
